I don't think Cheese Town in Gainesboro was ever really named that. It's what the locals call it because the old cheese plant was there. It's Murray Street.

But we do have Booger Ridge, Flynns Lick, Flynns Creek, Pinch Gut, Poorhouse Hollow. I'll remember others. We also have Lois Lane.

Free State..Is another area.

There's a Flushing, Ohio...sorta presents an image don't it? And I swear to God there is a Big Bone Lick in Kentucky...I think it's a park. Who names these places anyway?

We have friends that live in Fly TN just off the Natchez Trace. I laugh everytime I drive by Fly Cemetary...someone passing through would think they bury flies there...there is no sign to tell you you are in Fly TN

You know those funny PA folk. (I'm from PA, so I can say that.) They have a town in Amish country called Intercourse, PA.

Now, what do you think that is all about?

Near Intercourse is another town called Bird In Hand. (While in Texas recently I discovered towns named In Between and Cut And Shoot.)
