Unhappy Gatlinburg

Next to the tourist spot of Pigeon Forge is combined with Gatlinburg. No big deal, almost like Gettsburg ,Pa Civil war history.
..Originally called White Oak Flats, a land developer, Radcliff Gatlin, wanted to make so many changes, the only way to get rid of the guy, was a bribe to name the town in his Honor...! Gatlin-burg.

Hungry Mother State Park is in VA and there is a nice-sized sign on I-81. It's a joke between my mother and I every time we pass it.

We also have the towns of Gassaway and Soddy Daisy.

I hope you can make it to the Muddy Pond General Store! It's nothing fancy, and it's certainly not very big, but it's always fun to visit.
