Default Not too expensive

My daughter and husband are buying a home in Franklin, Tennessee.
We would like to move there too but the area where they are buying (Leapers Fork) is too expensive for our budget.
Can anyone tell me about a closer area where I could find a home 3/2 not to expensive. (preferably not more than 30 minutes distance from them) and in the $150000.00 range, or maybe this does not exists. A condo or townhome will do but since I am taking my mother who is 87 yrs old I can not have a two story
Any ideas will help

You should be able to find something in your price range in Fairview, Thompson Station, or Spring Hill if size and age of the home are not an issue. There are actually several listings in these areas that show 1 story, 3/2, $155K or less. They would all be in close proximity to Franklin/Leipers Fork.
