The best blueberry farm I've experienced is in the tiny community of Middle Creek, in Greene County. The directions are a bit long-winded so if anyone's ever curious as to how to get there, just dm me and I'll help you out.

Okay, well, I'll just post them here, then!
Starting on 11-E in Greeneville (the 4-lane with Walmart), coming from Johnson City. Turn right onto the Erwin Highway (SR 107), proceed 3-4 miles and turn right onto the so called "107 Cutoff" (351 South) - this road is after you cross the river on the Erwin Hwy, and after the first gas station, but before the second.
Continue on the cutoff about a mile, then turn left onto Middle Creek road right after Hermon Methodist Church. This is a very sharp turn to the left as you're going down the hill. Go on this road about half a mile or so and you'll see a sign; they're on the left. It's 595 Middle Creek Road, Afton TN 37616,and their number is 423-636-2624.
Season should be just about starting, you might want to call before making the trip, though.

I've got about eight blueberry bushes in my orchard that are loaded with blueberries that are almost ready to pick if I can keep the birds from getting them first.

Crossville is about an hour's drive east from where I am, so I would think you could grow blueberry bushes there also. We just moved here from Nashville about 3 months ago and these bushes were already here, so I am no expert on how long it takes for them to bear fruit after they are newly planted, but once they are established it doesn't take long for them to set fruit.

You can grow blueberries in Cumberland Co. I was going to plant some this yr. but didnt get to it. Probably depends on the age of the plant. I would say you should get fruit by the next yr. I have heard you need to plant several different species. I have a bunch of wild huckleberry bushes growing. They are similar to blueberries but much smaller fruit.

Try the Southern Belle Diner in Baileyton. I was only there once last year while visiting our nearby property. Everything is homemade and cooked to order. I had a lamb shank when I was there and it was GREAT!!!
The owners are very friendly people who own a local farm...
I hope to get back there soon.

Has anyone been to any of the vineyards or orchards in the area?
I would really like to know which ones you liked or disliked. (Which are the best for tours, tastings etc...)
