I hope he comes here. Peyton's a great player and a great person. He would be a huge asset to this area.
If Peyton would let me decide his future, I would send him to UT to coach. But since that's not going to happen, I will keep my fingers crossed for him picking the Titans.

Regarding the "good guy" comment, I don't personally know Peyton Manning however, I know someone that does. She knows him very well and says he isn't the nice guy everyone thinks he is. This not a jilted girlfriend. I don't want to say too much because it will probably give away who she is to those that know him but that is what she says. She absolutely does not like him at all. Despises him, actually. Of course none of that means anything, really, to most folks when it comes to football. And that is only one person's opinion. But it has always made me think twice about him.

lol.

"She is not the jilted girlfriend"

Yet, somehow negative comments against Peyton by a female would give away her identity?

Nice!

Yes...

She is female and never, ever dated Peyton but knows him well. I promise you that he and every other male in the world have women in their life that they haven't dated. Why is that hard to understand?

I knew this would touch a nerve. It's neither here nor there for me. I have no dog in the discussion and he looks like a heck of a guy on local commercials. But the one person that I know that really knows him, detests him. And she never has a bad word to say about anyone else.

Just something that is interesting, nothing more or less.

I was mostly playing.

Anyways, Peyton worked out with the Titans this morning. According to this article the teams have been narrowed to Denver, San Francisco and Tennessee and a decision should be made by Tuesday.

I sure hope so. It's starting to get comical at the speculations with the media of where he'll go, and when he'll make up his mind. They have no clue just as I don't. Just hearsay and opinions. Like someone said earlier, I could go for him coming to UT to coach too if he didn't go to the Titans. As for him being questionably a good guy, I don't know him. I'm sure he's not perfect. None of us are. He has done a lot for various charities and the cities he's been part of, and that's what I see.

I was shocked he had given that much of a tip considering the bill already included an 18% gratuity in it! I'm sure the waiter kind of wishes he kept his mouth shut now though. In the end, it hurt him more than helped.

Well, I guess we are "supposed" to find out Monday or Tuesday as to what he'll do. Right now, they are reporting he is with his wife in the Smokies celebrating their anniversary and discussing their options. I'm still hoping he'll come to Tennessee. On the other hand, I don't want to get my hopes up too much.
