I'm curious - what were the temperatures when y'all were having all this rain? I know out here in CA the only time it rains is when it's cold - or at least it seems cold. What is the usual weather pattern? Do the clouds hang around all day like they do here, or are they constantly moving?

The storms are usually moving at a pretty good clip. Sometimes the front is narrow and the rain only last for a short time, sometimes there are "waves" of storm clouds (it's rains, then it stops, then it rains, then it stops . . .), at other times it can rain all day (hard or soft) if the front is deep and/or slow moving.

It's usually just gets a few degrees cooler when there's rain. In early spring or late fall, that can mean it does get cold when it rains. In summertime it's still warm when there's rain, but it is a little cooler with the overcast.

So, I guess the answer is . . . it varies. ;-)
