In that case I'll bring my world famous Mystery Meat. Is it possum? Is it squirrel? Is it raccoon? You be the judge!

Please ignore the tire tracks on the ribs.

Thumbs up Yummy, count us in!

My husband and I want to be there also. Anytime is good for us.

But, I am having some reservations about the roadkill grilling and leftover potato salad. We'll bring plenty of food for anyone who doesn't feel that those two food yummies fit into "the exotic cuisine that we always wanted to try"!

I'm sure the roadkill grilling will be fresh, now the leftover potato salad might be a different story....

Won't we see wildflowers in April, too? I would even look forward to the drive to the park at that time of year.

I'm thinking the Falls should be falling in April. Can't remember who told me (when we had our September picnic) that because of the drought, there wasn't much water going over the Falls.

Laurac, it is possible that there could be some Redbuds in bloom as well as the possibility of a few Dogwoods. It will really depend on the weather.

Hopefully we won't have a late freeze that takes out some of the flowers, etc.
I see this stuff in bloom every year but I have to confess that I don't really know the timeframes. Kerry
