Country living in Davidson or Rutherford county with good school? (Murfreesboro: house, to buy)

Looking to buy a house in either Davidson or Rutherford county.
We currently live in a city and want more of a country living. But we want good high schools for our two children to attend. Can anyone recommend a place that gives us both?

If schools are important, I would defnitely look in Rutherford County instead of Davidson. If you want the country feel, you would probably be happiest in the county instead of the city limits. You can have a Murfreesboro or Smyrna address but be located in the county. Also look at Lascassas, Christiana, and Rockvale. These are all just outside the city limits. Any of these areas would be zoned for Rutherford County High Schools which are very good.

That's very true.If you live in Davidson you'll have to put your kids in private schools to match the education they'll get in public schools in Rutherford.
