Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area
My husband can retire from teaching (band director) next year in Alabama, and we are thinking about moving to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. He is a percussionist, and we are thinking he might could find a job at one of the area shows or possibly at Dollywood.
Does anyone know who you contact about job openings such as this? How much do the musicians in the shows earn?
Also.... we absolutely love the area, and wanted to hear from people who live there full-time. Are these nice places to live as year round residents? What are the pros and cons to living in places that are heavily populated with tourists?
