Can anyone tell me some real life experience with this school? Currently looking into it for a 5th grader. Any and all information, the good and the bad, wanted.

Here's an in-depth article that came out last month about it:

That's not real life experience, but it does give you a lot of information. I heard a recent debate about it, and most of what was said was not good.

I saw another article like this one that didn't give as much detail. Thank you for this link, does give more food for thought.

My manager's kids use this curriculum. He says he's happy with it. I've almost considered it a couple of times.

I'm having 2 issues with the information I've found so far.

1. Is it accredited? If we move, or decide to put him back into public school, will his grades transfer over?

2. Cost? I'm seeing some huge numbers associated with taking these courses and it worries me.

From what I understand it is free and yes, it is suppose to be accredited.

It's free and yes if he passes the grades will transfer over.

We did this last year for my son to graduate in Colorado when we were transferring here. Best choice for him!
