American City Business Journals studied the 2011 birth rates in the 490 largest metropolitan and micropolitan areas in the country and found quite a range from city to city. The national average is 54 births per 1000 women.

It's a very conservative Christian town. May have a lot of adherents to the "quiverfull" movement.
