We were one of 15 states where unemployment rates went down during the recession. Also, we are number one for auto manufacturing.

I know what you mean, but you might want to correct that statement a bit. Unemployment rates went DOWN from 2009-2010, but during the recession proper, and the unemployment rate has yet to hit its pre-recession lows.

I understand that. My link specifically said from 2009-2010. But I had about two minutes to put up this thread. I figured most people would know the general time frame and can read the article. And I certainly never said that unemployment rates are back to their pre-recession levels. I didn't even suggest it. But thanks for your post because it really adds a lot to the discussion!

Tennessee is 7th in destination jobs!
