I have missed the sandhill cranes! In Florida, we loved to hear them going overhead with that weird creaking sound they make. We also lived on the edge of Ocala National Forest, so were able to see them a lot. Never knew they were in Tennessee. The website says that the numbers there have increased substantially since the 1990's. Wonder if climate change has affected them. Anyways, I am glad to know they are nearby for part of the year, and will definitely want to come see them. thanks for the info!
