Oh, sure, I've had sassafras tea. There was a certain point in my life where me and my brother tried anything (especially if the Indians did it, or Davy Crockett). We made corncob pipes, smoked grapevine, made our own tomahawks (and threw them at each other), built the world's largest slingshot, and . . . some other stuff . . . that I got into trouble for. But it wasn't me who set the neighboring field on fire with a flaming arrow . . . that was my brother.

LOL. That is so funny, alleycat! I can laugh because I have an older brother and younger sister who always did the rotten things, too. Never me!

So alley cat, you and your brother are obviously related to my 2 brothers hahahahaha I was an angle of course.
I love sassafras tea! Growing up I used to be walking down the road or trail and just grabbed a sassafras branch (thin of course) and chew on it all the way to where ever I was headed. We made home made root beer one year from the roots of some tree (can't remember if it was sassafras or something else) it was not like IBC but still pretty good.
