Seems I've heard talk of this kind of thing before. There's a book called "Dark and Bloody Ground" or something like that, that attributes a lot of evil and supernatural goings on in Tennessee and part of Kentucky to the curses of the Indians that used to occupy these parts. (Insert disturbed laugh here.....).

What fun! Thanks for the silliness and the history of the Vols. I'll bet the Indian disease is called nematodeitis.

A "Skunk Ape" is just one of the several names that has been given to the big, hairy, smelly creatures that some say lurk just on the fringe of our comfortable surroundings. Other names given to this mysterious beast are Sasquatch, Windigo, Yetti and sister-in-law.

Well, I guess I'll be immune to the curse then, as I'm NA. I got a good chuckle out of this - but feel sorry for the OP. And he's a very smart man who has learned not to act patronizing around his wife when she says something not so very smart. My applause to you!

Have you skeptics forgotten about the nose-diving, brain-eating amoeba, so soon?

Did you know bacteria is coming for you in East Tennessee, next?
