Default Daughter moving to Franklin

Well, yesterday my daughter told me that definitely summer of 2007 they are moving. They already found a home in Leipers Fork and are closing sometime in November. They will wait until the kids are out of school to make the move.
I know I will follow. I can't live far from those two little angels (2 boys), but I am a little scared.
So many thing we have to do. It is not just moving from one house to another, is from one state to another state.
I need to find a house, kind of close to the Franklin area if not in Franklin, nothing too expensive, the max. I could afford in probably $160 to $175.
It also worries me the fact that I need to move my mother and aunt with us. They are in their late 80s and I can not leave them behind. I worry about this move could affect them. They get so attached to things at that age.
I need to continue working and worry about finding a job there. I worked in the mortgage business. (for the last 37 years)
So many things..... Need to move my cat and my mother's dog. They have never lived together. I hope they get along good.
I am sorry, I know it is kind of a boring thread but it is a way out for me. After I finish writing I feel a little bit better.
God Bless

Smile Good Luck...

This thread will make you feel a little better, just putting it in real words...out there...for others to see...was a big stepping stone for me...I knew what my husband and I had been saying but when you actually say it out loud or to someone else it makes it seem so much more real. It is very over-whelming. Just know that you are not alone--and you obviously will have family nearby- that in of its self is a huge milestone. Good luck and keep typing

Maybe try looking up homes on realtor.com? Use Franklin as a starting place, but if you click on "add more areas" on the left hand side, you can get a better over view of areas around Frankiln. You can also check out the county and city web sites and most also have a "new comers" section or a "visitor" section of their web sites. Looking at what there is to do and have to offer once you move, might give you and your Aunts something to look forward to instead of just all the work and details involved in a move. You are right, it can be overwhelming but if the goal of a more enjoyable life is kept in sight, it might make things seem not so scary?? Just a thought. I was worried too when we moved here but we have never looked back and LOVE it! I'm sure you will too.
Good luck to you and yours.
