Rayman421 is on a distinguished road
Default Well, Here I come, Ready or NOt! ATHENS!

Yet ANOTHER Florida refugee moving to TN. Sold the house to the REALTOR!
For $20K under what I was asking but for $10K more than what I bought it for less than 3 yrs ago, so I guess I can't complain too much, as it does need a lot of work too!

Moving to Athens area, a little north of that to be precise, to Niota. Don't blink or you'll miss it. Unfortunately I'll miss the leaves turning, and I will be in time for the gloomy gray season, but it's time to go, whether I am ready or not.

Who is from that area? What jobs are available right now? Is KNoxville a long commute??

Rayman, I know the area you're talking about (Niota), looked at some property in that area when I moved back to TN from FL in July. No work there either, would be approx. 60 mile commute to Knoxville from there.
The next big town from there is Chattanooga, a 56 mile commute back South.
