Default Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge rip-offs...
A Gatlinburg woman wound up paying $250 to park her car in a privately owned lot, simply because she left to get change.
Boot on woman's car costs $250 at lot in Gatlinburg

A recent study discovered that 15 out of 16 [Pigeon Forge] hotel and motels did not offer the rates that were displayed and in some cases, they were $40 to $60 higher than what was advertised.
Pigeon Forge could scrap hotel rate displays

She stated she has parked there many times before, so she had to have been aware of the sign stating which cars would be booted and fined. Sounds to me like the lot owners knew just how often she did park there and were tired of it.
