This thread is so funny. Now about cows. When I was a youngster at grandpa me and my cousin was chased thru the pasture by his cow and half grown calf. We yelled for grandpa to come and save us and he just laughed. We were finially able to cross the field and get back to the house.

On bears. Last year a young bear was hit by a car on I-40 near Cookeville. Does anyone remember reading about that. I sometimes worry about running into a bear while riding horses. There have been several bear sitings around putnam and overton counties.

Thumbs up Ramps

Ramps are AWESOME fried with potatoes and some cook them with eggs. Cosby, TN has a ramp festival and there are several throughout WV and Appalachia. Ramp salt is really a great condiment, too.
