We Are Sold!
I just can not wait to get there. Anyone need a house in Florida?  We have actually started packing and sorting; etc... Hopefully we can get up there in a month or so to scout out some of the properties we are interested in.  |

Lost and Not So
Those pictures just nailed the lid on the coffin for Sneedville.
We are going back to our original dream - Somewhere between Cosby and Greeneville.
Oh well, back to Realtor.com, Land and Farm.com, Land Watch.com.......

Thanks for the great pictures. Two weeks from today, we are going to be cruising through Greeneville for our first look at the area. We will be coming in from Asheville on Route 70, so it should be a nice ride. When I showed my wife your pictures, her reaction was "Oh Yeah. I could see us retired there"!

Absolutely on that plan!!!!!
I think I just found 102 acres in Baileyton, half pasture and have wooded.
One of the biggest problems is staying close to the mountains and still have pasture land. We will be taking at least 6 horses with us and I have tendancy to add on to the herd
I don't care if there is a house on the land or not. It is so much cheaper to build up there anyway. A barn would be nice, but that can be built too.
I went to realtor.com AGAIN and got back 66 pages that met my criteria. That is going to be hubby's homework assignment while I am out of town this weekend.
I will keep you posted.
P.S. Check out the thread on horseback riding in the Greeneville area!!! I know we have the beach, but can you imagine riding your horse thru the Smokeys!!!! What a dream!! |
