Those are wonderful pictures. The mountains remind me of the Catskill mountains back in NY where I am from. Only thing I hate are the power lines everywhere. I wish they would bury them underground. That is the problem all over the country, they really ruin beautiful scenery.

Middle to South Greene County east or west doesn't matter so long as it is south of I-81. Or Parrotsville. ( I know, 2 extremes, but similar locations)
We drove for miles and miles all over the general area. We went up to Rogersville and checked out Hawkins County, and please, no offense to anyone, it was just too far north to be practical for us at this time.
Almost made an offer on a Greeneville piece, but decided it just wasn't right.
We will be back up in March for another go at it.
We did find a great realtor while we were there and she is a joy to work with.

I'm hurt

Greeneville is in North East TN just to the south west of Johnson City and about an hour and half East of Knoxville.

What beautiful pictures! It does remind me of my area, in upstate NY, just north of the Catskills. But your area seems much cleaner, better taken care of. Enjoy it before the thoughtless masses find it.
