Greeneville Pictures1
I finally took pictures of Greeneville! (Had errands to run there today) It started out to not be the best day and time for picture taking as it was raining on and off. There was a high level fog/haze due to the rain so these views of the mountains in the distance are not as clear as they would be on a sunny day.
For anyone that has a TN map I'll tell you the route I took and post in order....kinda like a photo tour hahahahahha
I got off Interstate 81 at exit 23, headed south east the 14 or so miles to Greeneville.

Moshiem

The main road to and through Greeneville is Hwy 11E which splits just before town. Go right to historic downtown and South Greene Co, go straight and it becomes 11 E bypass to the commercial part of Greeneville.

I took a left and stayed on 11E...those are new appartments

If I went straight here, would become Depot St in town, but I took a right onto Hwy 70 South,

70 south

Intersection of 70 and 321

I see the leaves are starting to change a little more. I'll be up at our home away from home next week for 4-5 days. I hope for some nice color. I will post pics of the Upper Plateau on another thread while I'm up.

Hi, I am moving back to TN after 20 years! I have thought about the Greeneville area. Any suggestions about housing in this area?
I am not sure exactly which town I will be moving to, but I am coming back home to TN.
Would you please email me anything about this area that you think may be of interest? My email address is yardsign77@yahoo.com and I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for sharing these photos. My husband and I will be in Greeneville around the 21st of October. Looking at areas of TN and trying to narrow the areas down. Greeneville area looks lovely and we may want to consider retiring in that area. Thanks for sharing.
