Actually, it was extended in April but they no longer have insurance as of 12:01 this morning. Gone. Finis.

That means there are not fire or police coverage. If insurers get hold of that info it could jack up folks' home insurance. There is no library, no public parks. The article says the water is still turned on.

"Mayor Lois Preece said there is no telling when insurance could come back.

The next meeting is set for July 15th."

I think this is where the county & state need to step in. I assume these people are still paying for services that they are not receiving?

From what the news stated tonight.. All town services are closed Police -Fire - Waste Management .. I guess the county know will step in.
