oak ridge people are great (Knoxville, Maryville: realty, hotels, trip)

hi all, first of all i have to say that we did visit oak ridge this past weekend and we were very impressed and in awe with the friendliness of oak ridge folks. if you were driving around and seen us driving very slow looking for different places and streets in a blue sante fe with florida plates, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY for not beeping your horns because, we were going so slow. if anyone is looking for courtesy, friendliness, beautiful scenery, and very clean restaurants and stores. VISIT OAK RIDGE!!!!!
thanks again very much, and we are originally from new england, we have only been down here in florida for 6 yrs. yes we are definitely moving up there mid january. we have already started putting in resumes and looking for a home. THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH FOR BEING YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two questions -

Where in New England are you from?

And tell what you did while you were here. Where did you go? What areas did you see that you liked?

Your three months will go by frighteningly fast. Mainly because if you're selling and buying, things will get crazy and time will fly. It seemed like no time between our visit down here and our move.

okay well we went to applebees, walmart, linda brown realty, melton lake, driving around looking at houses, 3 different golf courses, farm market, drive to harriman, applied at different retailers and hotels for employment. the hospitality that we had while we were there is getting us thru being back here. we are going to be renting with the option to buy. just looking to line up things right now and hbb will set up when get there. again YOU ALL ARE GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's good to know. Me and my wife are very possibly going to make the move to Oak Ridge or Maryville. I heard back about a job today that would be on the I-40 strip in the southwest corner of Knoxville. Oak Ridge and Maryville both would be about a 10-15 minute drive.
