We spent last week up at our home in Monterey. It was nice to be back. Beautiful weather.
Sunday morning we headed over to Oakridge for a train ride. It wasn't really what I had expected but was fun non the less.

Later that afternoon we headed back to Crossville to visit the Corn Maze. That was a real treat for the whole family. The corn field is 12 acres with over 5 miles of maze. We never found our way out after two attempts. They had food, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, playground, animals, pumpkin sling shot, and a corn cannon. Good times. We also went on a hay ride which took us up behind the maze where we got off to pick pumpkins from the acres of orange.

The little one at the house letting us in.

The girls with their Jacks that they later rolled down the Mountain and into little pieces.

Tuesday was a trip down the road to Muddy Pond where we ate lunch and picked up a Pork Butt for dinner.

Then on over to Cookeville where we visited Burgess Falls. In my opinion I like Burgess better than Fall Creek Falls. It's a smaller park but wow is it gorgeous.

Wednesday the little one and I headed down the Mountain below our home for a little hiking. Here is a pic of here under a bluff.

That night is was off for some trick-or-treating in town and a stop by the Fall Festival at a local church. Free fun for all. They were serving free food and drinks for everyone. I tried giving a donation but they wouldn't go for it. They said it was there treat for the whole community.

More to come....
Thursday was a day trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Went to the Comedy Barn in Pigeon Forge. We had been there once before and loved it. They even picked me out out the crowd to come up stage the first time we were there and would you believe it happened again.
