Default Seymour's Tri-County Location

Greetings Everyone! Hoping someone could help me out. I'm sure you get a lot of posts about the Southern migration by Northerners. Well, my husband and I are hoping to become a part of that group next summer or early fall. We had a chance to visit Sevierville this May and loved the area and the people. The only downside was the tourism (a little too crowded for us). So we decided on Seymour, a place we haven't seen yet, but sounds more our speed from the posts and some research we've done. To make a long story short, we learned that Seymour straddles three counties: Blount, Sevier, and Knox. The zip code we're looking at is 37865, but can anybody tell us exactly which county that's in? Does Seymour really cover three counties (and how do you know for sure which one you're in?)

Zip code 37865 is listed as being in Sevier County.

John Sevier was my great-great-great-great-great-uh-grandfather.
