Just got back from a week in Tennessee. I'm going to give posting these pics a shot. I'll title the group of pics per post. I also have pics of Norris and Clinton that I'll post under their own thread. If I mess up, I'll keep trying until I get it right. Please be patient.

I am definitely coming just as soon as my apartment complex is finished next year. See my 3 post (had to break it into 3 different posts because it was too long) trip report in another thread. I've lived in the same town of Maryland for 11 years and have never been inspired to take a single photo of the town I live in...not that there is anything wrong with the town that I live in - it's clean, convenient, safe - it just doesn't offer me anything in retirement (and it's expensive). Plus, the people in Oak Ridge were absolutely wonderful. Usually after a vacation, I look forward to going home but this time, I didn't want to leave.

Thanks Laura. I have followed all of your posts as I am "guessing" that we are in about the same turn in the road in terms of age, work. and single status.
I appreciate all of your information and pictures-very informative. I have been concentrating my search on the Oak Ridge/Maryville area. Like you, I don't require malls nearby as long as there are sufficient supermarkets, a drug store and a Home Depot or Lowes. A Target, etc. can cover most of my needs.
