Hello,

I recently just posted about moving to TN but having a hard time figuring out where. We are aiming for Nashville area. My husband is a plumber, hoping to get his liscense in a month or so, can you tell me where there are jobs for him? We are also considering Knoxville. WE just have to seek out some good companies so we can make a trip down there and set up some interviews. Any help is so appreciated.

Is he looking at residential or commercial type work? Lee Company in Nashville does plumbing and HVAC and is a pretty large company. Meyers Plumbing seems to have increased advertising of late in the Nashville area.

I don't personally know anyone who works at either of those places so I don't have any insider info I'm sorry to say.

In the Murfreesboro area (just south of Nashville) you have several what I call smaller mom and pop plumbing companies along with a company called Southern States that does alot of mid size commercial mechanical contracting.

Thanks for the replies. He does both commerical and residential. I was looking at Lee, looks like a good company. We almost have to base our decsion on where to move on where he can get a good job. We are looking for well known, bigger companies. I would love the names of whatever you know. Thanks so much....
