Then, you'll notice in the second post, second photo, the trees on the right are bright orange but the trees on the left in the parking lot are still yellow. I'd like to know what both are. Thanks.

P.S. I can't believe we're having our town Christmas tree lighting in about 2 weeks.
In the second photo (and in some of the other photos, particularly the last one), the trees on the right are Bradford pears. The ones on the left are either cottonwoods or sycamores (I can't see the leaves well enough in the photo to tell). If the leaves were somewhat heart-shaped, they're cottonwoods, if they had lots of pointy lobes, they're sycamores.

In the first photo, I just can't tell what the little tree on the right is. I would guess another Bradford pear, but I could very well be wrong. I'm sorry to say I don't know what the tall trees are.

Great pics as usually LauraC! And yes, we are getting amazing colors here in the Tri-Cities area too yesterday and today. I will put the camera in the car tomorrow and see if I can snap some for you.

Smile Thanks for the eye treats, LauraC.

Beautiful pictures, LauraC. My sister in Philadelphia sent some pics of their fall colors a couple of weeks ago after I told her that ours turned out rather bland.

But there photos have really outdone the color we were seeing a week or so ago. We have a beautiful fall afterall.

Lovely spot to take these gorgeous photos, too.

LauraC, you beat me to it! While I was driving around town today I was thinking that I should take some fall colors because--SHAZAM!--they're all of a sudden just spectacular. But since I'm not nearly as good a photographer as you are, I'm glad you beat me to it. Great job!
