Question What's Yours?

Favorite Big TN city?

Favorite TN town?

So far I love Chattanooga/Hixson, but I need to venture out more within the state. I'd like to live in a quiet area with some privacy and country charm, but be close enough to the city for nightlife and fun.

Bigger town or city? Nashville, followed by Chattanooga.

I don't really have a favorite town. It might have been Franklin 25 years ago.

So far from what I know....... Crossville - Cookeville area, Bean Station and Morristown. The Ocoee area was super heading in to Cleveland.....I'm a country bumpkin kinda folk.

Well, it isn't really a "big" city but it is the "Model City" so I will vote for Kingsport and little towns, I agree with JMT, Jonesborough.

These are favorites too! I also liked Gray, TN and Townsend, TN.
Paris, TN was really neat in the far Western part of the state. It was a bit far from everything though. The area around Linden,TN is gorgeous. . .a bit too rural for me though.
Next week we will visit
WhiteHouse/Springfield/Hendersonville/Cookeville/Livingston/Baxter. This will be my DH 1st trip to TN. Looking for a place to call home.

I haven't seen enough of Tennessee to answer this thread but I like Norris and Townsend for beauty and Oak Ridge for things to do.

Not being a city person, I don't like any big city anywhere.

Well, I actually don't like Tennessee. I have lived here my entire life (25 1/2 years) and I am seriously sick of this state. I am looking to more around next July to Daytona Beach. But if I have to choose it's:

Chattanooga Area
Pulaski/Minor Hill Area
And a few select areas around where I live, Henderson County in the sticks
