Have you thought about feeding that one on the left? He looks like he's skin and bones . . .

I think they both sleep too much, ~ 25 hours a day... I wish they could go outside during the day, but they are inside cats.

I keep my Russian Blue inside too. I let her outside some while I'm there but she's pretty contented to stay inside.
I have a bed for her, and she'd found three or four more herself. Recently she's taken to sleeping in the cardboard box that a new DVD player came in.

Talk about Green acres. I just bought a "new" house. Right now I am heating with electric stack heaters and Kerosene. The only thing propane is the tiny stove that is connected to a grill size tank in the attached shed. How crazy is that. My dh started running duct work thru the hidie holes but laid down on me. Eventually I would like to get an outside wood stove that blows heated air thru the existing duct work. As far a cooking, I hope to get a full size ele. stove. I really prefer gas, but thats not an option where im at now.

dosent look like the ones Ive seen but could be the same thing. My aunt and uncle had one built and installed by the mennonites for about $2000. Maybe the one you posted is just made to look more pleasing. Theirs looks like a big wood furnace and is located right next to the house. I dont have a lot of info on them yet. But the people who have had them installed love them.

From what little research I have done some ( most ) are a stand alone boiler some where near the main house that has a wood fired boiler for radiant heat plus also for hot water. The hot water is separated from the boiler by a water jacket. The boiler water has a ( antifreeze ) solution that's why the hot water is not with in the boiler it's self. You have too stoke the boiler or use a pellet type fuel with a feed auger that's some what self supporting. But you still have too load the hopper with fuel pellets. Which are are $6--$9 dollars per 40 pound bag.Or buy bulk 1,000--2,000 pound at a time.Which works out too $3--$5 dollars per pound. Pellet is left over what every wood or corn Cobb or a mix of both. The places that have it bulk also supply a special trailer for off load at your place. You supply the truck and man power for off load......
