LauraC....that animal is a Scottish Highland bull. My neighbor raises them. This one has short hair, but by winter it will be much longer and the horns get very long with age

Yes, thank you. That's what they told me at the Museum of Appalachia on a subsequent visit. The animal seems to have excellent hearing.
