So nobody has anything to say about goat's teeth? I'm thinking they eat EVERYTHING, never brush or floss, and probably never go to the dentist (don't know if there is an animal dentist) yet that old goat has beautiful even perfect-looking milk white teeth.
Maybe we should skip the dentist and chew on some old shoes, grass and garbage.

Goats are like cows, they only have teeth on the bottom in front so they can munch grasses.... they do have back teeth on top and bottom so they can chew lots of stuff....They don't really eat just anything tho... no tin cans, etc...lol... they do like to nibble and taste paper and the glue that holds labels onto cans. They will also nibble/lick/chew things that taste salty. So i guess with all the fibrous things they munch, their teeth are pretty much 'self-cleaning'....lol
We have goats. I especially love the fainting ones!

I have some online friends in England and elsewhere overseas. Around Thanksgiving we got to talking about turkeys for Thanksgiving dinner and I mentioned I had wild turkeys and deer on the place I have in the country in Montgomery Country.
I mentioned we had all sorts of animals in Tennessee; possums, black bear, deer, raccoons . . . and fainting goats. At first I think they thought I was pulling their leg. So I found a YouTube video of the fainting goats of Marshall County. They all watched it and couldn't believe it. They were still talking about it two or three days later. None of them had ever heard of fainting goats.

Here's a site with great pictures of different goat breeds:
Breeds of Livestock - Goat Breeds
I was stumped on a lot of them, but wondered if there weren't some angoras in there.
I think the Beefalo ID is correct. I never had their meat, but if you ever get a chance to have buffalo meat, try it. It's incredibly tender. Two states that I lived in had buffalo ranches and buying meat from them was always a treat.

I'm pretty sure that I saw Beefalo at the Super Target. It might have been Buffalo, though.

The beefalo steaks are good, but I found that the ground beefalo, when made into burgers, was a bit dry. I found I could mix it with regular ground beef and reduce the fat while preserving the taste.
