And no one can talk to a horse of course That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mister Ed. Go right to the source and ask the horse......

My horse Star used to talk to me. She'd make all kinds of cute little noises and if I spoke to her, she'd whinny something. Never could understand her but luckily she would nod her head for yes and shake it for no. LOL

They sure do! I've had a couple of very special ones in my lifetime, and hope to get another one after we move.

Me, too AlisonL. My old gelding died with his head in my hands 7 years ago. When we move to Johnson City next year, I will be looking for my new equine buddy. Nothing like a big, soft horse nose snuffling in your hair. My horse Raja would give me a "kiss" on the cheek - sort of a soft lip-nip against my face...so sweet.

Awww, Star would give me a big ole lick on the cheek, just like a dog. Fury would give me me a little lip nip too.
Yes his name was Fury, but he was not black. LOL. He was a palomino leopard Appy. He was my last horse and I miss him like crazy.
Maybe we will be lucky enough to end up close enough to become riding buddies.

A friend of mine has miniature horses. They are great fun for pets and as driving horses. However I am 5 ft. 10 and they are too danged short for me to try to lead around, never mind grooming and hoof cleaning. LOL

So I found a YouTube video of the fainting goats of Marshall County. They all watched it and couldn't believe it. They were still talking about it two or three days later. None of them had ever heard of fainting goats.

I had a big Tom Turkey that was raised in with some goats.... thought he WAS a goat. He ate the goat feed and stayed right with them, even though he could easily have flown over the fence....lol... I used to have people stop and ask how we kept him in there, and i'd say... shhhhh... he thinks he's a goat, don't tell him any different...lol
