Default How to choose the right Goat or Sheep

So Question 2 is are they all goats? Notice they all have smooth coats except for one that has a coat like a sheep. Does that mean that the one with sheep like fur is in fact some kind of sheep?

Question 3 is can you tell if a goat is male or female by looking at the shape of the horns and does that mean these are all goats, just some are male and some are female? Or, are they all goats and some are just older than others and that's why the horns are different?

Question 4 - Notice the teeth on one goat. They are perfectly white (photo not touched up) and perfectly straight. I'd kill for teeth like that. But it's a goat. Don't goats eat all kinds of junk? So what's with the great teeth?

Lookee here folks, ya got it all wrong!

First picture: TrikeGoat. Very popular with the younger set. Stable, comes with an optional rubber bulb powered horn for the more nervous first-timers.

Second: HogGoat. Hell's Angels and Bandidto's favorite ride. Simple, rough ride. The ladies seem to enjoy this model also.

Third: Custom HogGoat with Doublecurl handlebars. Faux Hell's Angels choice. Looks are deceiving this is an easier ride than you would think.

Fourth: Gripper. Very nice example of half curve bars for a really good grip. Notice the (high beam) single halogen light for exceptional visibility at night. Sometimes called the GoatStar. Old Farts and CEO's choose this one almost exclusively.

Fifth: Custom Doublecurl. For the adventurist. Very precise handling, but a bit touchy. Easy to crash.

Knowledge is power. Learn yer goats and sheep and you'll choose the right ride every time.

I love that post with the striped cows!!

In Massachusetts you see black and white ones just like these brown and whites. It is amazing. One uniform white band all around the middle of a black cow - all the same width in exactly the same area.

They must be the cows that leave that white band of milk around celebrities' mouths in all of the "Got Milk?" ads.

Disney several years ago had a cow with "Mickey" on it's side, it was a natural mark on a Holstein that looked like "Mickey"....

Default Alpaca

If I was going too raise anything on a small hobby farm it would be Alpacas.
Look at that face and they come in all colors from whites~brown~carmels and their hair is highly prized by weavers. $20--$80 dollars for a 10oz hank spun......Just look at that face.......

We have a cat that thinks he is a dog. He greets you at the door by standing up against your leg to be petted. Thankfully he is declawed so cannot get a good grip. LOL
