Default Relocating from Texas

Hi everyone, my husband has recently accepted a position in Hendersonville. It was supposed to be for a short time however they have made him and offer that is hard to refuse. It has been hard for the family having him travel to Hendersonville during the week, so he would like for us to move up there. I have lived in Texas all of my life so this is a big deal. We live in Plano which is north of Dallas and a large city, however we have recently sold our house because we were in the process of buying 5 AC farther north so that we could be in the country and have our kids in a smaller school. Well obviously this plan is on hold.

What I would like is some information on the areas around Hendersonville. If we move I would like to find an area, which is similar to what we had planned on here in Texas. What areas would be good to find 5 or more AC that is no more then an hour commute from Hendersonville. The schools are small but decent and the homes in the area should be stick no trailers. Allows for horses and not full of retirement folks, my kids would die. Geez, I guess it sounds like I am asking for a lot, but any help would be appreciated for us to start our search. If you happen to know the price per Acre in the area that would be great too.

Thanks for the help.
