Looking to move.
Hello everyone! I am currently living in Texas in the Corpus Christi area and despise it here.
I am looking for a place to live that is under 30,000 people, has clean air and water, low crime rate, good schools, fun things for a family to do, rolling hills or mountains, lots of green and not to harsh winters, snow is ok, just not to cold for a long length of time, and decent cost of housing...my wife is a medication aid so any input on the pay for that field would be appreciated...I own an internet marketing company so jobs won't apply to me.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Towns smaller than 30,000 with good schools, beautiful scenery and lots to do? Check out Cookeville, Maryville, or Oak Ridge.

I'm from FL and also looking to move to TN (or AL), and we seem to be looking for many of the same things you are looking for. We have narrowed it down to Cookeville, TN, Elizabethton, TN (or something in the Tri-Cities area), or Guntersville, AL. You might try researching those areas. The "search" feature on this forum is very helpful.
We are planning a trip in the spring to explore these three areas.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

John...
You are describing Cookeville, TN to me! It has all of those things that you've listed. Our Medical Community is BOOMING! We are the hub of our region and have a shopping area population of 250,000 people plus....
Let me know if you have ANY other questions and I will do my level best to answer them. You can GOOGLE Cookeville, TN and find out all kinds of fun stuff...be sure to ignore some clown who runs something called the Putnam Pit...

Oh, and I almost forgot....English is the primary language here, too...Coming from Corpus (or almost anywhere in TX), I thought you'd appreciate that!
