So, has anyone seen any snow?

It's not even below freezing in Nashville (at 9:30 am).

Freezing rain, sleet with some flakes mixed in now and then here in the Tri-Cities 10:40am. There was lots of white only a few hours ago.
Nothing sticking.
Birds are fed and all over the back yard having an eating frenzy. I filled the feeders a few days ago, they haven't paid to much attention to them until today. I am hoping that is a sign of more snow. The birds know more than the weather guys.

Just got electric back a bit ago (was out for 3 hours). Light dusting and breezy. Not enough to cover the leaves....hehehe
31° right now.

Well, we have gotten something here. It's so fine that it almost looks like someone has spilled salt.

It's a good day to watch an old movie. I think I'll watch Splendor in the Grass with Warren Beatty and Natalie Wood . . . the plot's a little dated but it's a beautifully filmed movie.

Husband just went out and fed the birds again as the ferocious winds have knocked the feeders here and there. We've had rain and a little bit of sleet but really nothing remarkable save for the wind. (hello, this feels like Chicago today!)

This is a great day to stay in. So far I have been cooking, baking and am cleaning out my kitchen drawers. And, of course, had to check in on my forum friends.

Yeah, I peeked out my patio door a few minutes ago and there was a Carolina wren peeking back. Like, "Hey, mister, want to put some sunflower seeds out here. It's cold and we're hungry!"

Off I go out into the cold . . .

You want snow? I'll show ya snow. Turn on the Cleveland Browns game...that's what we're getting in Ohio on this Sunday afternoon. I've got the coffee pot on and just made a batch of homemade Chai Tea mix to give as gifts, while hubby is watching the football game. Doing some Christmas cards and just enjoying watching a nice thick layer of white "sugar icing" layer up on the evergreen trees. For now, it's great...come February, well, that's a whole 'nother ball game! Merry Christmas to everyone! Whatever's going on outside your window, make it nice on the inside!
