The kids here (FL) my area are stealing propane tanks from gas grills and huffing-snorting the fumes......

We have lots of problems with people knocking on doors and asking for money in this area. It's all over Knox County and even in my little area, where there are more cows than people.
I had a woman knock on the door the other night and say she needs gas money to visit her daughter in the hospital. Two doors up, she changed her story, and it was her sister in the hospital.
I thought I had escaped this stuff by moving out of Florida, but drugs are running rampant in this country.
It's a huge problem everywhere.

My husband and I just moved to Crossville in July from New York. We haven't seen or heard of any meth problem here. It is a nice town with very nice people. The weather is nice and we are very happy with our choice of area in Tennessee to live in. Unfortunately we have no children in school to help you out with that. We don't have many stores but 30 minutes away in Cookeville with nice shopping. We don't regret out move to this small peaceful town.

Tennessee has a drug problem. While you may be able to avoid interaction with dealers, you are not going to be able to escape the impact of the users' addictions (plenty of theft and car accidents).
