My husband and I have been thinking about moving to Tennessee from Ohio and are just trying to figure out which area is best for us. We briefly drove by and through the nashville area and liked it a lot. we have visited the Chattanooga area, it's nice but Just not right for us. We have a 2 yr old daughter so we are looking for good schools, low crime. We want to live on a couple acres of land but would also like to be about 15 min from many amenities like shopping, food, parks and things to do with children. Somewhere we will never be bored. Also affordable housing. Any help would be great! Thank you!!!

Thumbs up North Chattanooga, at HIXSON.

..M.8 WELCOME.to the forum.North of Chattanooga in the middle of Hamilton County is HIXSON.. This is where all the shopping plaza's can be found.. Slighly north one still should be able to find two acre house. Maybe $150 K to $180 K .
The big county park , which is free sandy beach to swim , playgrounds, called CHESTER FROST.
