Its 17.4° here at my home in Bristol, TN on the southeast side. We have cloud cover, which I think is holding our temps up a little more now. Its been between 17-18 for about 3-4 hours now. Downtown is much colder however, @ 13°!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have a gauge, but the Sarasota airport is reporting 34 Degrees. Being east of I 75, that usually means we are 4 to 6 degrees cooler. That's pretty d**n cold around here!

Tennesseestorm - How did you make the little degree sign behind your 17.4?

It is 10 degrees here in the Tri-Cities at 10:00 am. There was snow flurries falling at 9:00, sun is out now and my back yard is full of birds and squirrels eating everything I put out trying to add to their fat contents. I re-filled all the feeders on New Years eve and some were at them but nothing like today. I will more than likely re-fill the feeders around noon. I find the wildlife is more accurate to weather forecasting than the news hahahaa. Kids are out of school and there is a dusting of snow around here and there.

11 degrees this morning ~ but come Saturday or Sunday it will be 60 degrees.
One thing they say in Tennessee is "If you don't like the weather, stick around a few minutes and it will change!"

Have a safe trip and enjoy the views....
