I apologize. I hop around these boards sooooo much that its hard to keep track these days. lol Yes, I do remember now, thanks for the refresher. Yes, Im a diehard Blackhawks fan, as well as a general sports fan.

Are you still considering the Chicagoland area? Did the temps warm up down there yet? We're on the upswing today, continuing thru next Wednesday.

Hey, Steve-O!

It's 30 degrees right now, and expected to reach 60 by Monday.

Almost the exact same here. Was 26 on the ride in, 55 on Sunday. Then back to the mid-30s by next Thursday/Friday.

It's currently 43 in Nashville, but it actually feels warmer when you're out (it's sunny).

I stupidly turned the heat in my house waayyy down when I left for China 3 weeks ago. So when I got home at midnight last night it was 35 degrees INSIDE my house. I slept on the sofa in front of my gas fireplace.

It is so nice to see you back, JMT! We are all so anxious to hear about your China travels.

Lots of pictures, I hope?

Thanks to you and hiknapster for the warm welcome home! A near-freezing house notwithstanding, it was good to get back to Tennessee.

I didn't take many pictures this time (it's my 3rd time to go to China this year). But I did go on a shopping spree. I bought some Target sweaters (well, Cherokee) for $1.50, an Adidas jacket for $10, a leather Mont Blanc attaché case for $30 (it goes for over $1000 at the Mont Blanc store in Paris), a tailor-made cashmere suit with 2 pairs of pants for less than $100, and on and on. Since I don't know when I'll get back to China, I figured I should stock up this time.

Weather-wise, it was warm and muggy there most of the time. I kept up with the weather in Tennessee while I was over there, and some days I wished I was back here, others I was glad to be over there. But one thing's for sure: those good people in South China definitely do not like cooler temperatures! As soon as the thermostat dipped below 70, they broke out their wool sweaters and fur coats, and that is no exaggeration.
