Rileen is on a distinguished road
Default Work Availability Anderson County Knox County

My family has lived in Tennessee since 1978 in Clinton TN. I just returned from a visit with my mother and family. It isn't my first visit, but everytime I so so, I have an overwhelming urge to stay.
I used to live in Oregon and loved the country life, raising goats, chickens a large garden, fishing, canning, cooking and breathing much easier.
Currently, i live in the Los Angeles, CA area ( a vast area of suburbs ) and really do not like the culture.
The work that I do is an Account Manager with one of the largest Commercial Insurance Agencies in the State. Our primary coverage is Transportation (Truckers). I have been a licensed property and Casualty / Life agent for the past 9 years and also have skills in retail management, and am a certified Court Reporter's Scopist.
When I was in Tennessee, I didn't have time to check out the job market, but thought I would do some research when I arrived home.
If anyone knows anything of the employment market out that way, please write.
Thanks, Robin

Some insurance company called Answer Financial was supposed to come to Oak Ridge and open 100 new jobs in Oak Ridge. This was in the August 10, 2006 edition of the Oak Ridge Observer weekly newspaper in a story about new housing and new jobs coming to the Oak Ridge area. (I saved the story because of the housing info but recalled the 100 insurance jobs reference when I read your post.) That's the extent of the information in the newspaper article on those jobs but you may want to research that company and Oak Ridge since it appears they will be hiring a lot of people. Apparently, they are a California firm and they have some jobs posted on the Yahoo hot jobs website now:

http://hotjobs.yahoo.com/Company-Pro...Inc-Jobs_29822

but if you go to the company's home page, you might be able to contact them directly. I don't know what kind of insurance jobs they are. Oak Ridge is an easy commute from Clinton.
