Default Snow in Maury County

I'm sitting here watching some silly TV weatherman standing out in the snow in Maury County. There is absolutely nothing here in Nashville, not even rain.

Just looked at the radar and it looks like Chatt is getting some snow. It is coming up from the south this time which is odd. Usually comes more from the North/north west. Think is gonna be a weird storm.

It's snowing a little here in Nashville now. It's 1/3rd snow and 2/3rd rain.

Knoxville's got nothing.

If you look at the radar, it looks like a big bare circle around the area. Maybe the radiation from Oak Ridge has something to do with this? Just kidding!

If it gets bad by the morning I'm staying put until the roads are better.

Smile Oh, the snow is so lovely here. Hope you see a bit!

We have at least an inch on the ground here in N. GA with it still coming down. Oh, how happy am I?

The moisture, MB, is coming up from the Gulf and hitting the dry, cold air blowing down from the North. Once they hit one another you have, hopefully, snow and not sleet or freezing rain. So, the storm is coming in from the SW. You have not lost it and I don't think it will be a weird storm unless, like Hik said, it passes over something eerie - then all bets are off.

It's been 10 years since I have seen snow. Hoping for a little of the white stuff next weekend! It could happen.

Default Out in the boonies

I didn't know it was snowing here until the raccoons came knocking at the back door for their nightly snack...lol... got maybe half inch here. Snow stopped and now we are getting sleet. I may get iced in out here in these woods for days.
