Me too! I remember my mom and aunt talking about riding the train from Monterey to Cookeville and sometimes even to Nashville when they were young girls. My grandfather worked for the rr so they got discount passes. I always thought it would be so great to take a passanger train as opposed to driving. The route is so scenic, I drive that way a lot but you cant take your eyes off the road long to check out the scenery.
