The web site wallethub.com picked 272 cities in the country and ranked them by which cities are the best for baseball fans. I'm not sure how they picked those 272 cities, but Tennessee's cities didn't do so well compared to the rest of the country. I'm sure a lot of it is because there's not an MLB team in the state. The methodology includes metrics such as MLB and NCAA accessibility, the cost of tickets. attendance, the number of sports bars, the number of Facebook likes, TV viewership, and others. I'm also sure that the next time this list is made, Nashville should improve because if its spanking new baseball stadium downtown.

At any rate, here's how wallethub ranked Tennessee's cities:

93. Cookeville
117. Nashville
146. Clarksville
159. Knoxville
166. Murfreesboro
195. Johnson City
209. Martin
219. Memphis

I don't know about this list. Memphis has one of the coolest minor league stadiums in the country. Greeneville's is pretty neat too, and has great atmosphere for small town baseball. Probably can't compete with baseball on a national scale, but within the state, the rankings seem off.
