Hi there. I am interested in learning more about Farragut. If anybody has info, like restaurant choices, things to do, are there theatres, arts, outdoor activities? What about the school systems.
We are used to living in a nicer suburbia area...and think this may be a great comparison. If anyone has info on this area, I would really appreciate it. |

http://www.yellow.com/ I just went there and typed in Farragut TN and "restaurants" in the search boxes and it turned up 148 results. You can do that for retail stores and other categories. School information for all of Tennessee has been posted here under other threads. You can search the city-data forum for those threads (and threads on Farragut) but start here for school info - http://www.k-12.state.tn.us/rptcrd06/ use the second search box for Knox County, then when the results come up for the county, go all the way to the bottom of the page and use the search engine's drop down box for specific information on Farragut schools. |

Do a search for the Farragut Press. It's the local newspaper and has a lot of information that will help you. If schools are important to you, Farragut is going through a redistricing right now. Nobody knows what school they are going to end up in. Debate should be settled soon.
Farragut is home to one of the areas newest shopping centers. It's called Turkey Creek. They have just about everything there. Wal-mart, Belk, HH Gregg, Target, Starbucks, Payless Shoes, Shoe Carnival, Pet Smart, Pier One, Lane Bryant, Bed Bath & Beyond, Office Max, Restraunt's Galore. Homes prices (I'm a Real Estate Agent) range from $200,000 - $1,000,000+. Hope this helps. |
