Are there jobs and reasonable housing in the Lafayette Tennessee area? (apartment, home)

My family is considering relocating to the Lafayette area. I do home health care and my husband drives truck or warehouse work. Also, what are the middle schools like?

Macon County is a nice area....if you're good at doing your job in Home Health, you'll have no problem landing work....truck driving jobs are a dime a dozen....

One question, why Macon County?

I'm not dogging that area....I have relatives there and like the area...was just wondering.

I am getting ready to purchase a home in Lafayette...seems to be a nice little town, I am coming from Calif. and want a small town atmosphere....you are only about 50 miles from Nashville, and they have a small hospital there, Macon Cty. hospital. You are not far from Ky either. Cheaper than Nashville, and in the country, housing taxes are way cheap....if you send me a direct email, I will show you some photos....
