Default What does MVACTY mean?
I was researching some rental property for the Johnson City area and the site listed a vacancy factor of MVACTY? Wondering if anyone could fill me in on what this means? My husband and I were hoping to pick up a couple pieces of investment property in the next year or so before we move to the area.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

This is a cryptic term that has a lot of people scratching their heads. I don't know if this is correct, but the best guess I've seen is "Minimum Vacancy (per) Tax Year", and should be expressed as a percentage (like a vacancy factor).
Whoever came up with this term should've let the rest of us in on it!
