Hey guys. I live in Hendersonville, but I am trying to remember the name of an area over by Pigeon Forge. If you were to take the mountain road from PF to the ski area in Gatlinburg (not the main road)...what is the name of that area up there? Past all the vacation cabins and all that, there's pretty much just land and a few convenience stores. For some reason the word Apple is jumping out at me, but that might be from somewhere else... Ever since I had my last baby my memory is shot!

I'm not sure where you are talking about? Is it near the Ski resort or is it b/n the two cities? I'll just name a few places. Caney Creek, Chalet Village, Norton Creek? There is an Apple Valley Rd also.

HMMM, Apple Valley Road sounds familiar. Does it just go to Gatlinburg and the National Forest, or does it lead to another town further back?

The only thing Apple that jumps to mind is the Apple Barn, but that's just a place to go. Wears Valley is another way to get into the park from Pigeon Forge. That's all I can think of at the moment.
